Al Abass lost his two hands, his eay, and lost the water just for protect his brother and his family..

When Imam Hussain saw the flag that was with al Abbas had fall dow he said : "Just now, my back has broken" and he ran for his brother, he cried and held him and asked him to bring him for the camp. But Al abbas said "No, I don't want my sister Zainab to see me like that, leave me her near the river".

After the enemies killed all the warriors and burned the camps of Imam Hussain, they cut all the heads of the warriors and put the head of Imam Hussain, his sons, and his brother Al Abbas on the tops of javelins, and they left the bodies.
